Packing all the features of a W60 series valve, the W80 series comes standard with a stem flush adapter to provide a steam barrier around the valve stem for aseptic applications.
The W80 adapter is the go-to choice for aseptic applications. The adapter adds an outer perimeter seal to the valve body that is forward to the product zone the minimize crevices. The valve stem passes through the adapter and is sealed in the upper part of the adapter with another o-ring.
The adapter flush ports are drilled in between the two o-rings to create the flush zone. And the W80A adapter adds steam trace to the adapter-to-valve body connection to create a fully aseptic solution.
